When you apply for a loan with Nationwide Loans, Inc., we collect personal and financial information necessary to evaluate your application: name, address, date of birth, Social Security number, employment information, income, bank account details, and credit history.
How we use it
We use your information solely to: (1) verify your identity, (2) evaluate your creditworthiness through a soft credit pull, (3) process and service your loan, (4) communicate with you about your application and account, and (5) comply with applicable laws and regulations.
What we never do
We never sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We never share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or third-party marketers. Your information stays inside Nationwide unless we are legally required to share it (e.g., with credit bureaus we report to) or you give explicit consent.
How we protect it
All data is transmitted using 256-bit TLS encryption. Stored data is encrypted at rest. Access to personal information is restricted to employees who need it to do their jobs, and all access is logged and audited. We undergo annual third-party security assessments.
